The people behind the faux-Greek village of Santorini Park (www.santoriniparkchaam.com) at Cha-am are looking to build on that popular success by opening a new water park recently completed right next door. The Santorini Water Fantasy is aimed at the whole family and will feature a host of different slides, pools and waterways. The highlight looks to be the Ares’s King Cobra a huge slide that lets two people race on tubes through the twists and turns of the snake’s back, hitting speeds of up to 50kph before appearing to be swallowed into the snake’s mouth. Tickets are B700 for adults and B400 for children, while children under 90 centimeters get in for free. The park is open Mon-Fri 10am-9pm, Fri-Sun 9am-9pm.
